IWCF RE-SIT NOTES;
Candidate pass mark is 70% in each component for an overall pass.
Candidates who are eligible to re-sit are allowed a maximum of 2 attempts to re-sit the failed component(s). These re-sit attempts must be completed within a period not exceeding 90 days from the initial test date.
28 day waiting period only applies to those candidates who have used all 3 attempts.
Only 3 attempts overall per candidate per registration
Candidates should not sit all 3 attempts on 1 day.
There are instances where the written components are attempted before the practical assessment. Candidates must therefore pass at least one of the written components to proceed.
IWCF Renewal Certification;
If a candidate with an existing valid IWCF certificate attends an IWCF accredited center during the 90 days preceding the expiry date of their current certificate, and is successful in their re-qualification program, the issue date for their new certificate will be the date following the expiry date of their current certificate; providing that the re-qualification is in the same program and at the same level as the current certificate.

IADC RE-SIT NOTES;
The candidate must Re-sit and pass the full training course before being certified.
If a candidate’s assessment score is from 50% to 69%, one Re-sit must be made available. The trainee does not pass the course unless candidate passes the Re-sit.
The candidate who qualifies for Re-sit may be Re-sit on the same day or may arrange another time for the Re-sit.
The candidate who qualifies for Re-sit must complete the Re-sit within 45 days of the initial assessment date.
The Re-sit may be taken at the site where the original assessment was given or at another facility operated by the same training provider.
IADC Renewal Certification;
Candidate must renew certificate prior to the expiration of their current well control certificate.
There is no grace period for renewal of a WellSharp Certificate of Completion.
